Chapter 20 was short and interesting. It talked about how to handle an accidental death. Who knew there were accidental deaths in the Bible??

This chapter was fascinating because, in addition to discussing the distribution of land, it listed the towns that were "a city of refuge for one accused of murder." From Biblical times there have been towns, cities, countries with no extradition. Wow!

S1 Ep57 - Ephesians 2

My understanding of this chapter of Ephesians was to remind us that the Jews and Gentiles are now one, and to remind us that we have been saved by grace and not by works. Verses 1 and 2 were very powerful.

In this chapter, this particular verse stood out to me:
14 - Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.
And this is one of my favorite verses:
29 - Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
