S1 Ep133 - Matthew 11
In this chapter, John the Baptist is in prison but sends messengers to Jesus to ask if He’s the Messiah who was prophesied to come. Jesus sends back the message that He is.
Later, Jesus starts denouncing the towns where He’s performed miracles because none of them repented.
The chapter ends with a famous passage: “Come unto me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Verses 28-30)
